On the night of June 1-2, the Burning Crusade Classic was released, and we were finally able to break into Outland. Let's tell you what came of it.
Perhaps Friv2Online did not expect Classic WoW to be such a success, as the originally planned number of servers could not accommodate all vanilla fans in the end. Both those who got hooked on WoW back in the 2000s and those who were not even born then rushed into the hardcore world of the Classics.
The release of Burning Crusade Classic was simply inevitable - many players still consider this expansion to this day the best of all. However, for those whose heart is dearer to World of Warcraft in its original form, they retained the opportunity to stay in a world in which the Dark Portal never opened. The rest began to prepare for the release of BC - they rocked, dressed, farmed gold, took vacations at work.
And on the night of June 2, a long-awaited event in the world of Military Craft happened - the Dark Portal was opened. The influx of players was simply limitless, Friv2Online created more and more new layers, which in turn were filled in a matter of minutes and burst into several new ones. The NPCs giving quests were simply not visible because of the desire to become a member of the defense of the Dark Portal and receive the unique tabard of the defender. But even by taking the quest and making your way to the Portal, there was no guarantee that you would get the right amount of demons to complete it.
The abundance of players, massive AOE abilities and a chat that non-stop reflecting the emotions of players waiting to be sent to Outland through the Dark Portal made it clear that this was indeed a grand event that would not happen again until 14 years later.
And so it began... the poor boars, who lived for themselves, not knowing grief, in Outland, were reborn in a matter of seconds after death, all the ore was dug up, the grass was uprooted, the Bonechewer tribe became unhappy with their place of residence, and even the huge nightmare of this world, the Filthbot was just trampled down by players breaking into new content.
A lot of new quests and locations, new dungeons and WPvP content that players scurrying around everywhere were busy with - all this made it clear that in the world of vanilla the release of Burning Crusade has been waiting for a very long time and for many this is really "New" content.
From the abundance of blood elves and draenei, it was simply full of colors in the eyes. By the way, the happy owners of the Deluxe version of the add-on had to give up their hopes of using the level-up token on the characters of the new races, so it didn’t work out to quickly pump to the maximum and beautifully dress your paladin elf. But no one forbade anyone to show off on the unique mounts that the developers provided to the owners of the Deluxe Edition for Burning Crusade and Shadowlands, and move using their own Dark Portal.
Mass raids on monsters and quests showed that they want to start using the new ability to fly faster, despite the high cost of this hitherto unknown knowledge, which appeared only with the Dark Portal in Outland. Yes, in Burning Crusade Classic you still need more gold, because it is not easy to get it. Players who are accustomed to their wallets swollen with gold in Shadowlands will feel like beggars.
A pleasant surprise for those who arrived at the new base in the Blasted Lands was the fact that a new teacher awaited them there, giving knowledge of jewelry and opening up an incredible opportunity to create necklaces and rings to your taste.
For those who have been playing World of Warcraft since its inception or the release of the Burning Crusade expansion, it will be nice to be able to return to the good old days. For those who, like me, started playing WoW after the release of Wrath of the Lich King, or even later, the release of BCC is a great opportunity to find out what life was like for players before.
